Diabetic Diet for Keyword Marketing

Diabetics are often told to mixed their foods. They categorize them into the speed at which they are metabolized into the body, or have benefit.This analogy or example strangely has great application when it comes to Keyword Marketing.

First are slow Carbs/Tactics. These are tactics that have a slow start, but long lasting effect. This would be old school link building. Requesting, purchasing or creating links to your site. Relevant links none the less.

Then come medium Carbs/Tactics. These are tactics that take effect more quickly, but their benefit may take a month or two to show the kind of benefit you are seeking. This may be some directory submission, Google maps, local directories, code revisions, and classified advertising.

Finally we have the fast Carbs/Tactics. These tactics take effect immediately and have results today. Usually this is PPC advertising, but it could also include social networking like Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.
